DUI Solutions & Treatment Alternatives was established in April 2003. Our intent is to assist all individuals who need specific services for a DUI arrest or any individual who desires help for other alcohol, drugs or other self-destructive behaviors interfering with their quality of life. Our professional staff has extensive experience in the field of counseling and working with all local agents who address these same issues.

Richard Mast, CADC, NCAC II, CCJS
Clinical Director of Treatment Services. He has 23 years of experience in the treatment of various addictions. His experience is with adults as well as adolescents. Prior to entering the field of addictions he completed a Masters Level practicum at Proctor Hospital's Chemical  Dependency Unit currently known as Illinois Institute of Addiction Recovery. He is currently a State Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), a Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor (NCAC II) and a Certified Criminal Justice Specialist (CCJS) through the American College of Forensic Counselors. Mr. Mast has vast experiences in all levels of treatment including: interventions, corporate training, EAP/SAP Programs, group/individual counseling, and public speaking.

Paul LeVeque, BS, CADC
Treatment Coordinator for our Bloomington location. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Illinois State University in Normal Illinois. Mr. LeVeque also maintains credentials in the State of Illinois as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). He has over 15 years of experience working with substance abusers/addicts and their families. Mr. LeVeque specializes in assisting DUI clients who are attempting to regain their driving privileges and have been denied by the State of Illinois the right to drive.

Jill Talavera, MA, NCC, LPC, CADC
Treatment Coordinator at our Springfield location. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Counseling at the University of Illinois/Springfield. Mrs. Talavera is also an Illinois Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a State Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). She is also trained and experienced in mental health counseling and marriage and family counseling.
